Blood substitution
Indications
Rheopolyglucinum is infused in case of capillary blood flow’s amelioration for preventive measures and treatment of traumatic, operative, toxic and burn shock; in case of arterial and venous blood circulation’s amelioration for preventive measures and treatment of thromboses, thrombophlebitis, endarteritis, Raynaud’s disease, for adding to the perfusion liquid in pump oxygenerator during heart operations, for microcirculation’s amelioration and reduction of the tendency to thrombosis in transplant in case of vascular and plastic operations.
Side effects and precautions
Allergic reactions: feeling heat, a fever, a fever, a nausea, a skin rash; are possible anaphylactic reactions with development of a hypotonia and a vascular collapse, oliguria. In these cases appoint preparations of calcium, antihistaminic, cardiovascular and other means. At simultaneous application of anticoagulants decrease in a doze is necessary. In case of occurrence oliguria it is necessary to enter salt solutions and lasix.
Contra-indications
Contra-indications to purpose of Rheopolyglucinum are: hypersensitivity, decompensated cardiovascular insufficiency; craniocereberal traumas with increase of intracranial pressure; hemorrhagic an insult; proceeding internal bleedings; athrombia; a thrombocytopenia; the expressed infringements of function of the kidneys, accompanying oligo- and anuria; hypervolemia, hyperhydration and other situations at which introduction of massive dozes of liquids is contra-indicated.
